The United States Congress passed a historic piece of legislation called the Inflation Reduction Act.
City and state officials have the opportunity to apply RIGHT NOW for grant funding for your community in the areas of environmental justice, decarbonization, energy efficiency, and sustainable infrastructure!
Tonight, from 6-9PM, we’ll be speaking with the locals in Huntington about the advantages of securing some of the historic funding that is available through the Inflation Reduction Act passage. We are asking the Huntington City Council members to investigate potential projects that fit within the city’s comprehensive plan and to take advantage of this historic opportunity to bring jobs and infrastructure to our community.
The Inflation Reduction Act is the largest investment in clean energy or climate ever signed into law, with benefits for individuals, industries, and communities. The IRA is implemented via tax credits, deductions, grants, loans, and for non-taxable entities, direct pay. For more information about the IRA visit newjobswv.org or click here.
