CARES Act letter to Governor Justice
On March 27, the CARES Act was signed into law as part of Congress’ federal COVID response. The legislation contained Coronavirus Relief Funds (CRF) awarded to state and local governments. West Virginia received $1.25 billion. As of October 6, just under $1 billion of the state’s CRF still remains per the West Virginia Auditor’s Office. More

Volunteer from home and call your fellow West Virginians to help them navigate the registration and voting process in the 2020 General Election! All phone bankers will be provided with training and materials needed to virtual phone bank. More

PRESS RELEASE: Municipalities Can Now Save Money Through LED Street Lighting
Starting today, municipalities, housing developments, and others who have Mon Power or Potomac Edison as their electric utility can save money by converting to light-emitting diode (LED) streetlights. LEDs are growing in prevalence due to their low maintenance costs and energy usage. The U.S. Department of Energy estimates that within five years upwards of 90% of all outdoor lights installed will be LED. More
